Most of my Sims don't think twice about prosperity being better than poverty, but Jihoon points out rightly that there are downsides...when everyone around you is rich, you have pressure to maintain a certain standard of living, and then you are preoccupied taking care of all your stuff. Plus, when you have expensive TVs and the like you don't actually need to play with each other. (I have noticed lately that my old tradition of "red hands buddies", which got the 'hood through its first difficult years, has died out since everyone got the expensive widescreen TV. Children don't need to play with somebody to get fun up any more, so they don't need to be friends with their siblings or parents...)The Sojournerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04559244806125834569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3464163334632081144.post-60770653284818240512013-04-14T11:33:06.802-04:002013-04-14T11:33:06.802-04:00Nice to see the kids growing up so well! When they first got married, I spent all their money making a big shell of a house and filled it in as I went along afterwards.

I have some kind of obsession with group painting pictures, so I'm glad somebody else enjoys them. :)The Sojournerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04559244806125834569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3464163334632081144.post-10977179252836140002013-02-18T00:40:19.843-05:002013-02-18T00:40:19.843-05:00The house looks very nice from the outside!
